A lot of students who are registering for the University of Ilorin Post-Utme screening exercise have shown concern about their Passport not showing during and after the registration. This is to notify students in this category thus, that student’s passport are only gradually uploaded to the portal from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Portal. On this note, candidates who do not find Passport on their portal should be duly informed that the school will with time update this and the passport will be shown, this should not stop candidates from completing their registration. Students are encouraged to keep re-checking their portal and reprint once the portal has been fully updated.

FUOYE Post-UTME results for the 2020/2021 academic session have been released. In  the ongoing strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), lecturers in Rivers State-owned universities have been warned against resuming lectures. National President of the Association, Abiodun Ogunyemi disclosed this after the Rivers State Government announced the reopening of tertiary, secondary and vocational institutions from Monday, October 5. The ASUU President stressed that its branches were still a part of the ongoing strike and any violation of their directives will be appropriately sanctioned. Also speaking, the Port Harcourt Zonal Coordinator of ASUU, Uzo Onyebinama said although the unions in Rivers State universities were on suspension for previously flouting the order of strike, it did not expect the members to resume classes.

The management of the University of Ilorin on Tuesday 29th September 2020 reached a conclusion and according to information we gathered, the University of Ilorin authorities disclosed that a higher percentage of candidates who selected the University of Ilorin as first choice in JAMB are yet to register for the University of Ilorin Pre-admission screening Exercise. This is coming shortly after a closed meeting by the senate, coupled on facts that 70% of candidates who have chosen the University of Ilorin according to stats that were made available are those awaiting both A’level and O;level results, the management made it known thereafter that the board will be extending the registration up until October 31st 2020. Speaking on the school’s admission plans, the management of the University of Ilorin said they are concerned with applicants that are awaiting their results and the new development is to give room for them while the management awaits the release of results for A’
